2020 APS Australia Cup

Each year around March the Australian Photographic Society (APS) announces its annual Australian Cup, a competition open to any Australian photography club (or society) or camera club. The BBCC entered the competition for the first time in 2019 and finished a very creditable 32nd out of 52 clubs that entered. Most importantly, however, was finishing in front of the Shoalhaven Photographic Club who finished 40th!

For the first five years we entered the competition, we selected images from all members, but after that we selected the best images - keeping in mind the rule regarding the maximum number of images allowed from each member.

The APS Australian Cup is excellent for our club for four main reasons -

• it is totally digital
• it is really inexpensive to enter
• it is really, really easy to enter
• it lets us see if we need to improve
